I think this episode proves all the naysayers wrong about AD. It was absolutely hilarious. I loved the “everyone hates the juice” and couldn’t stop laughing for minutes after the Star Wars Kid scene. But I have to say, this show really pushes my suspension of disbelief:

I don’t think it proves the naysayers wrong at all: American Dad started off pretty sucky. It’s had a massive leap in quality in the last 3 episodes. I’m starting to enjoy it more than Family Guy – Stan is a more entertaining character than Peter at any rate. If Stewie and Brian swapped shows I’d drop Family guy altogether! 
Catero Colbert also did a voice (Derek Jeter), but they’re not related.
That’s my guess too… I haven’t seen the movie (yet - I obtained it just to figure out that reference), but the song during that scene is “Mondo 77” by Looper, which is on the Vanilla Sky soundtrack.
That’s how I feel about it. I didn’t like the show very much when it first began, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality that is developing.
Personally, I was a fan right from the start.
It definitely is, although the Looper song is from a different part of the movie.
