The part where they have Stan running home in a panic with that techno playing when he found out that Steve was a geek–what was that a reference to?
I was going to open a thread to ask the same thing.
Sorry, but I don’t know. However, I wanted to say: “Why does everyone hate the juice?”
Hey, that was Stephen Colbert as the dentist.
What was the sign at the convention that said something about vaginas? I missed it.
“Humanoids with vaginas get in free.”
Thanks Mr. Blue Sky.
What did the asian kid say? There was a tornado warning on at the bottom of the screen here, that blocked out his subtitles.
I think the scene might have been a reference to Vanilla Sky, unless I’m getting that confused with another movie.
When? The one I remember offhand is ‘That you didn’t make me Sulu shows remarkable racial sensitivity.’ when they were playing Star Trek.
I liked the episode. AD is consistently above average.
But that line went above and beyond!
This episode had a lot of gems:
-
The whole fight with the terrorist was hilarious as well.
-
Especially when Stan shot him after he donned the one ring.
-
Roger and his probe victim
-
Roger telling Haley to get over Bush. NEVER!
-
Mulder and Scully…even to watch!
I thought it was a reference to Run Lola Run, but I’m not sure.
“My god! Who’s manning the Internet?”
Asian kid: “The fact that you didn’t make me Sulu shows remarkable racial sensitivity.”
Then the fat kid stretches his eyes and says, “I’m Sulu.”
AK: “Laugh now, the next century belongs to us.”
While playing the card game:
AK: “Fool. Now who will shoe our horses?”
Stan’s hatred of the heavy kid was a riot!
I was looking forward to meeting the translator … too bad he had to crash into the dam like that!
That poor Star Wars kid!
That was just funny. “(CIA GUY) is good at the jumble.”
Last week I said that Klaus’s DVD commentary gag was the first funny thing Klaus had ever done. Well, his weird fantasy about his manicurist is the second funniest thing he’s ever done. I really like seeing a severely reality-challanged Klaus.
That Asian kid is getting on my nerves. The “joke” is that he never speaks English I guess, but it’s not funny and it causes me to miss a gag if I look away from the TV too long and fail to read the subtitles.
Heh. I wonder how many people actualyl got the full meaning of that joke. OK, yeah, most people will be like,
“Oh, he’s pretending he has a lgihtsaber, ok, funny.”
But us internet geeks know the TRUE reason it’s hilarious.
All Poor Star Wars Kid jokes pale in comparison to the ones done by Arrested Development!
