I always thought Tatiana was a good singer. It’s the crazy that bugs me, and I don’t even say it to be mean. She’s a deeply troubled young lady and I can’t imagine it is fun to be her. The further she goes in this competition, the more disastrous it will be for her. Even the celebrity she’s attained this far will probably end all hope of her getting perspective and being a normal person.
Like there aren’t plenty of songs written for men?

The song was competent, but the Unnecessary Key Change and the Belt A Strong Final Note both really ruined things for me.

LOL. We ate at a Kmart deli, but I can’t remember if we drove awhile before eating there, or if it was in town. (I often go to the Pizza Hut when I visit the Wilder Home in Missouri though!) It was beautiful, and I really want to go back.
It was also my first trip out of the country, and we went through some backwoods border crossing just a few miles out of town to get to Canada. It was different. We didn’t realize it was the Franklin County Fair either, and told we got the last hotel room in town.

My favorites are Danny, Anoop, Alexis, and Ann Marie, but I bet Tatianna gets through. Hopefully whoever doesn’t get through will come back for Wild Card. I don’t know which three I want to go through!!!

Ok, Danny Gokey can really sing and will probably make it through, but I don’t find him interesting anymore.
Alexis Grace did really well, maybe better than Anne Marie. But Anne Marie’s hotter.
All in all, this was a pretty shitty group. Amazingly, I think Tatiana was the best singer tonight. I like Anoop, I’d like to give Fowler another chance. Other than that, they can all go back to their day jobs.
Gokey really grates. He’s as full of himsef in his own way as Tatiana is.
My favorites were definitely Ricky (who was brilliant) and Alexis. I expect Alexis to get through but Ricky will probably get shafted based on screentime. Anoop (who was disappointingly average) will make it, accompanied by Danny Gokey (who I might like a little more if he hadn’t been shoved down our throats so thoroughly).
If there’s an upset - I’m betting on Tatiana. Oh god. Haha.

The only ones that qualified as even remotely qualified for the Top 12 were Alexis and Danny and shudder Tatiana.
I did find Jackie and Michael moderately tolerable, but they’re never going to make it in a singing career.

I liked Danny and (yes, crazy woman) Tatiana the best tonight. She’s a nutcase, but I thought she was fantastic in her performance. She’s certainly got talent. Probably Braddy next. A whole lot of suck tonight, though.
Tatiana was the best, I thought. For the first time, I voted. 6x!

After seeing her restraint tonight, I’m starting to wonder if the looney toons act was just a strategy to get on the show. They wanted her to be a crazy performing monkey tonight and she became a competent singer instead.
Anyway, I don’t care what’s best for her, I want what maes the best entertainment for me. If Tatiana goes berzerk and cuts up Paula’s face with a nail file, that’s terrible for Paula, but hysterically funny for me.
Yeah, I’ve changed my mind too. She was clearly one of the best singers (of the girls, the only one I liked better was Alexis). I’d sooner see her hit the top 12 than 3/4 of the people tonight.
I really like this system of voting. This early in the process there is a lot of chaff to cut through. It will be much more satisfying to see 3 good people make it than see the two most-sucky ones get booted while several equally-sucky people move on. And if “America” gets it wrong we have a chance that the judges can save the best ones that might have had an off night.
Danny Gokey is this year’s Archuleta, but he’s Archuleta with some savvy. He’s undeniably a good singer, but how long will people put up with the overwrought hype? The teenies will all go nuts for him, but for those of us not interested in yet another Michael W. Smith vanilla singer, he’s got a lot to prove. But, like Archuleta, all he needs to do is hang on. He very well could be holding back a little and waiting until it really counts to blow us away with something surprising and cool, but we’ll see. Part of me wants to see him get voted out and take him down a peg, especially since I really want both Ricky and Anoop to squeak through.
Ok who was the asshole who prescribed anti-psychotic drugs to Tatiana? She’s SCARY and no fun like this.
Her dancing while singing gives me hope, especially that little head bob thing she did at the end of her song, because you can see hints of the crazy in it.

Danny and the Tatiana definitely make it. Third goes to either Alexis, Anoop, and I like Ricky as my dark horse.
My guess was the meds kicked in or she’s on the down part of her bipolar cycle. The “demure” Tatiana was freaking me right the hell out - if I met this girl in person, I don’t think I could get away fast enough. It is a possibility that all the previous stuff was the act, I’ll concede that, though. I guess we’ll find out.
I really like Anoop Dawg, but he was having an off night. Brent Keith was super awful - I would pay money to never have to hear anything like that again (especially since it was country, my least favourite genre). Stevie is a sweet kid, but that blew. Big time.
I thought Alexis Grace, Tatiana, and Danny Deadwife were the best singers and performers tonight. Tatiana makes me very nervous, and Danny makes me want to slap the smarmy right out of him, so can you guys do me a huge favour and vote for Alexis?
