The producers seem to want to pimp this guy to be the blue collar/redneck guy, though.
One of my early faves, Oil Rig, is bombing.
Can we please retire “I Don’t Wanna Be?” It’s never been a good song, and it only gets worse when somebody tries to “make it his own,” because it really has NO room to do anything other than follow the original, highly structured and rhythmic, melody.
On performance alone, Ruffneck is done.
What a string of shit performances. This guy Michael really blows.
I missed most of the audition shows so I take it as a given these people are the best of what they saw, but, jeez, it seems like half of these people have no business being on the stage.
I don’t get what’s so likable about this Sarver guy. Just because he works on an oil rig doesn’t mean he’s interesting.
Anne Marie
Just good, but compared to the last few people she seems outstanding. I wish people wouldn’t do Aretha, though.
Anne Marie is mediocre on any other night. But with tonight’s competition, she’s a shining star.
Bonus: If she gets cut, she can always just put on that dress and go out into L.A. to turn tricks.
Anne Marie seems more mature than everyone else.

This is disappointing. He’s one of the people I thought would be good. Sorry to say it, but that sucked.
It was almost like he was nerved out, he’s got something going on but that wasn’t doing anything to show us what he’s got.

I can’t say she sounds bad. Crap. This actually sounds really good. One of the most infuriating things about this girl is that she actually can sing.
I think that might have actually been the best performance of the night. Please don’t throw shoes. I know she’s a crazy bitch, but I can’t say she’s an untalented crazy bitch.
I hate to admit it, but she actually started singing the song pretty well, and showing restraint.

How wonderful! The judges are all encouraging her to go insane! It’s “unnerving” that she’s holding it together tonight.

The judges hate it that she sang well. they’re really not giving her performance as much credit as it deserved. They wanted her for the trainwreck, and she didn’t give it to them tonight.
Does it sound like her Spanish accent is stronger tonight than it has been in past episodes?
Huh, since I’ve missed nearly all of the audition shows, all I knew about Tatiana was what y’all have been saying. Expected much more crazy, so it’s a little disappointing.
I don’t necessarily understand the judges comments, but she did better than most of the others tonight at least.
