Brooke was karaoke and a little too self-satisfied. That’s two weeks in a row that she picked very easy songs. She isn’t very courageous.
Oh God, she’s being so nicey-nice. I don’t know why it’s annoying me so much.
So was Simon just shitting on “Here Comes the Sun” by saying there’s a “whole world of difference” between that song and “Let it Be”? Because I think they’re both great songs.
Brooke’s dress was hideous. She looks like Big Bird.
Brooke should have chosen “Strawberry Fields Forever.”
What did she do that was different than any other week? She picked a very safe, unchallenging song. What so daring about it.
And she asked if she could do “Let it Be” again this week? Man, she really is artistically gutless. She’s perfect for this show.
I’m living in bizarroland. Brooke was actually one of my favorites so far tonight (I wasn’t looking at the screen, though). Of course, I didn’t like any of the others at all, so that’s not saying much.
I still want to vote for Eddie Vedder.
I wondered about that too. Maybe he thinks HCTS has too much guitar on it. It’s just as classic (and just as classically “Beatles”) as “Let it Be.”
Well, sure, who wouldn’t? 
Brooke needs a piano since she seems so awkward and uncomfortable when she’s “dancing” (or whatever that was). I cringed at the “Whoo!”. Yikes!

I felt like I was watching a Disney movie when she was on. I almost expected birds to make her a dress like in Cinderella. But it was more like birds tore it apart.
I’m really sick of the rocker guys who are alternative in the way that was passe 15 years ago.

So I might actually buy David Cook’s “Day Tripper.”
Whitesnake’s version of “Daytripper.” It always bugs me when they try to Daughtry their way through a week by doing someone else’s version of a song that’s in their comfort zone rather than just manning up and trying to stretch.
This sounds just like the Whitesnake version. They’re letting him do a solo? Cool.
I guess that was pretty good for a Whitesnake cover.
