Oh, this is a lovely song choice.
I think this guy might be my favorite this season (and tonight), but he breathes into the mike too much.

Jason didn’t mess with the melody and I really like his voice. But I wish he hadn’t smiled through the song. It seemed out of place.
Oh my god, I agreed with Paula about the pacing of the song.
I think she’s average as a singer and obnoxious as a personality.
I thought Castro was fine. He did a straight version of the song, didn’t dick with the melody, stayed in key and wasn’t obnoxious. That’s good enough to make him the best of a bad night.
I’m not liking this version of Yesterday
Wow, Syesha is capable of subtlety. Who knew?
Syesha is singing this way too slow. The guitar is ahead of her.
I found it boring and overwrought.
Neither hate nor love “Yesterday”. Just kind of pretty and muzakky. You could do something interesting with this song, but people rarely do.
I do kind of like the guitar arrangement.

Compared to the rest ,she will be on for quite a while. Sometimes I wish they would just shut up. Simon is always right.

She’s singing too high. Maybe shouldn’t hit the lower notes unless she went this high, but I…oh Christ, she just belted and did a run. I have no use for this version at all.
