It’s neat to read this thread after completely missing the show. Last night it doesn’t seem like I missed much, although I did look up a few performances and I agree David is ripping off Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. I seriously adore that band, and somehow David is getting more respect from me for choosing someone cool to rip off.
Asia’h was all right, the pants were distracting. They didn’t remind me of high-waisted normal pants so much as something equestrians wear or whatever.

Carly chose an awesome song, but only because in my head I hear the Cyndi Lauper version (Celine did it? Yuck.). I can’t be fair about grading her because 1) I love Cyndi, and 2) I have an irrational dislike for Carly.
