Sorry, I didn’t preview…I was multi-tasking. Obviously we had the same idea.
A fake-out?

A fake-out?
Wasn’t it pretty obvious that Bo could not have been in the bottom 3? Considering that it would be impossible for him to join either group with out making it a group of 4?
And we KNOW who the bottom 3 is. They’re not building any suspense.
I don’t think it could possibly be a fake out. No way Carrie, Cobbie and Vonzell are all bottom 3.
Why is Scott is still here? Why is Scott still here? Please tell me why!!!
America is dead to me.
~sigh~ I’m telling you…Scott has a deal with the devil or something.
Anwar’s outfit tonight is adorable.
Shit, I was afraid that would happen. Why, oh why won’t Scott leave!!!
And I officially love Bo.
Why?
America, you suck. A lot.
Me either, but whatever happened to Ryan Starr from AMERICAN IDOL One?
That bites. I don’t think he would have made it to the final two but that he’s gone and Scott is still there is a travesty. On the other hand, do we believe AI when they tell us Scott and Anthony were the other bottom two? If so, then that gives me hope…
Dear Lord, what a load of crap.
I tell you, if Scott manages to last longer than any of those in the top 4 tonight then we will know for sure there’s a deal with the devil. And then he can officially be this year’s Nikki McKibbin.
I am not at all surprised that Anwar is gone. He’s good looking and he’s nice, but he’s NOT a very good singer.
Scott has been in the bottom three since the beginning of time, but he’s dodged the bullet every week. Why? What am I missing about him that he got more votes than Anwar, who (for the first time) had an incredible night? Scott hasn’t even had one good night, as far as I can tell.
She shows up on one of the entertainment news shows every so often and talks about how Simon hit on her.
I think she designs handbags or shoes now.
Doesn’t really matter between Scott, Anthony, and Anwar which goes first; none will win.
There’s always some goober who makes it to the last half of the show for some reason other than talent. In Season 1, it was Nikki McKibbin, because she had a big rack. In Season 2 it was Josh Gracin, because he was a Marine, so he got the deification-of-the-American-soldier vote. Last year it was John Stevens because everyone felt sorry for the kid. This year, Scott Savol’s getting sympathy votes for being fat and ugly, and allegedly some Christian only-Christians-deserve-to-win votes, though I’m not so sure about that.
It’s no big deal. He’s gone within two weeks.
I’m pleased that Anwar lasted as long as he did. He was one of the few up there that looked like he really didn’t need the show, but not for the same reason. Bo doesn’t need it because Bo will rock no matter what. Anwar doesn’t need the show because anywhere Anwar is, good feelings follow. My guess is he’ll renegotiate his contract for a nice little raise, and go back to being the cool music teacher the girls crush on.
Re: Bo on the line. Classy, but definitely seemed scripted. It was TOO good to really have been true. But then again, Bo does seem the type to be clever and classy enough to do it. I can’t decide. We still clapped when he refused to go to one side or the other.
Oh, and I forgot to say as to the group performance:
Funny how of the remaining seven at the beginning of the night, the three I most liked were the ones with enough talent to play instruments while singing. Hopefully Carrie went up in the eyes of a few cynics tonight, seeing that she could strum along on beat and sing (and she was solid enough on the chord changes for me to believe she was genuine about having picked up a guitar before).
RickJay, deification is a scary word to read when tired. Scratch that first “i” and things change real quick. :smack:
Interestingly, Josh Gracin has since made it big in country music. He had the number one country single a few weeks ago.
