I hate Carly. I’m not sure why. Oh, wait – yes I do. It’s because she’s not that good, is painful to look at, isn’t having any fun, and thinks she’s incredible. Plus she already had a major record deal that bombed and has no business being on this show.

Brooke is like a younger Carole King anyway, so this song is truly perfect for her. She could cover the whole Tapestry album and sell a zillion copies to all us folks who grew up on it.

I thought Brooke was good. I really like her. She strikes me as someone who would make an interesting artist, unlike so many others on this show.
