George Huff from last year’s Idol will be on the local Fox news at 9 – and the local ABC news at 10 talking about Paula. It’ll be interesting to see just how George avoids saying anything bad about anybody, on back to back rival news shows, no less.
Yep, our local Fox affliate has an interview with Simon scheduled and a teaser about Clay, but they didn’t say it was a new interview with Clay just a vaguely worded promo. They’re throwing everything they’ve got against NBC’s big expose.

I think that promo they played here in Atlanta must have just been a repeat of Ryan saying that we would be shocked about the results from the week that someone else (Nadia?) went home. Damn tricksters. I was so worried when they had Vonzell standing and Anthony and Scott sitting. I’m sick of the antics in that regard.
He’s butt ugly. And I still have trouble believing him. Or believing that advice Paula would give him would make that much difference, since the judges don’t actually make the decisions. (Theoretically.)
They don’t make decisions, but we already know they have a lot of influence. Simon especially has been good at influencing people to vote the way he wants.
I don’t know what to think. Obviously, he has a cd he’s trying to shill (which apparently details his stupid relationship with Paula) and some of the stuff he’s saying just doesn’t ring true to me. Also, they said something about how he couldn’t afford a cell phone so it was a big deal to his friends that he suddenly had two cells–one from AI and one from Paula–but then his parents claim Paula was calling THEIR cell phones trying to reach him. That seems inconsistent to me. BUT, he does seem to have a pile of evidence.
Maybe I’m kidding myself but if I were in his shoes (at 22), I would have at least ignored the phone number or, maybe, told a producer.
Why are the parents being interviewed in a bar?
On the local ABC news, George Huff just said that when he was on Idol the season after Corey, the contestants were kept busy till at least 10 pm every night, and never went anywhere alone, that they always had a security person with them. So while he couldn’t rule an affair out, he can’t figure out how it could have happened. You do have to wonder.
I’m willing to be crass enough to think Corey’s parents are going along with it to help their son shill his record, too. They’ve been in the music biz for many years; they know how much publicity can help. Even questionable publicity.
I’m pretty gullible and am aware of that so I try to be very careful with what I believe. I have trouble believing his parents would go along with a huge lie like this but at the same time, I’m sure it’s exaggerated a little bit. I don’t know, I pretty much assumed that Simon’s nailed at least one of them so why not Paula (and for that matter Randy - although he doesn’t seem the type)?
I like to think I would have told the producers but I’m a pretty lonely guy and will take female companionship in any form I can get it. I can’t really blame him for anything - unless it’s all a lie of course.
