At this point, I even think James’ ridiculous ears are cute.
Ummm, is this Jennifer Lopez performance pre-recorded? In the part where she went up on the lift, the back support/railing just sort of ‘showed up’, she went up, came back down, it was still there, a second later they showed her (still standing on the platform, but at ground level) and it was gone, but you could see the hole for it. They cut away to, then they cut back to her and it was there again.

I was pleased with the elimination. I am certainly not a fan of Scotty’s, but I can tolerate him. I like the other three quite a bit and would be happy with any of those three winning.
I hate Jacob. Good riddance.

What kind of ridiculous farewell statement is that? Especially since he was just voted off?
So…does Haley stand a chance next week? The producers seemed intent on booting Jacob before her (to the degree of giving her the last slot two weeks in a row- completely unprecedented I think??), but their storyline clearly involves James, Lauren, and Scotty, and definitely not Haley. Without the pimp slot next week, can Haley knock one of them out? Could we get a LaToya London-style frontrunner elimination? (James? Scotty?) I did compare Lauren to Diana DeGarmo early on!
Poor Haley. Hope she finds a way through this!

He’s right.
And yeah, when Jacob said something about America falling in love with him, I thought he may be in for a rude awakening when he puts a CD out there. Maybe some gospel producer will find a niche for him, but a mainstream pop career ain’t happening for Jacob.
Doubt it – I’m sure he’s aware that no matter what place he finishes, the same folks still own his contract.
The kind that someone living a world of complete delusion utters.
Not all that unreasonable, since he was voted off fifth, not a sign of massive hate.
I think Lauren has more of a likelihood of going home next than Haley. I don’t care for either much, but at least Haley doesn’t put me to sleep immediately.
Heh - I keep telling Jim that Jacob looks like a drag queen in men’s clothing. 
Now he’s free to work on his album and see how much (and who) loves him. I won’t be buying it, I forecast.
