I loved the American McGee’s Alice. I did not buy the Alice in Wonderland game released in 2010. It was not the sequel they claimed it would be. Now I find that there will be a true sequel done by the American McGee’s team released mid June if dates don’t change. I can’t wait for American McGee’s Alice Madness Returns. I hope they didn’t make it too dark and grim of a game as it looks like it’s gone a bit more to the dark side. It looks like she still has her number one weapon the butcher knife, and her archetypal skull belt on the dress. I’m actually anticipating a new game for a change.
No yays or nays?
I’ll be getting it, most likely.
I’m looking forward to it.
I didn’t know a sequel was coming out but I loved the original and so will most definitely get the new one.
2010 game? Huh?
But yes, Alice: Madness Returns (they dropped McGee’s name from the title even though he’s still involved) has me excited.
I’m in. I’ve been looking forward to it for a while now. The original was one of my favorite games for a while. Hopefully this lives up to it.
I’m glad to see I’m not the only that wants to play it. Hopefully in two weeks we’ll be able to play.
There’s a trailer up – looks fairly amazing. Never got to play the original, but if this one has even half-decent gameplay I just might buy it at some point.
Soon cohorts. Soon. The mayhem will start and Alice will be loosed in Wonderland again.
I got it tonight. It’s only been installing for the last 20 minutes. I’m guessing a 30 minute install from the disk. Gah!
I had to drive to Madison for it, because our little hick town doesn’t have it.
By the time all things installed and I had my obligatory memberships and verifications done it took about 50 minutes.
Now finally to the game. It has the same feel as the original game and has improved graphics over what the past one had. This part is great. I am annoyed by the fact you play most of it in 3rd person and 1st person is available in very limited situations.
I really hate not being able to save the game. You go through a ton of difficult crap and end up having to repeat it over and over, because the auto game saves are really far apart. The game is fun like the original, but the auto save only sucks.
