http://www.kumon.com/ is a tutoring company. Even their logo makes me go :dubious:
There’s an ad I hear on the radio locally for a company called: Shed Happens.
The build sheds, apparently.
That was sort of meh until I saw the full name of the division on that web site: “Kumon North America”.
There is a huge Asian market here in Austin called “MT Market”. I always love telling people about it the first time and seeing the name sink in.
There’s a Thai restaurant called “Beau Thai” here.
I worked in a UK town called Staines for a while years ago. On the same business park was a Siemens office. It was a matter of faith that they would answer the phone with a jaunty, “Siemens Staines”.
There’s a pizza place in Tahlequah, Oklahoma that’s called Sam N Ella’s Chicken Place…
