I just got an order for some pipe organ music, composed by J. S. Bach, from a person who could also refer to themselves as J. A. Bach.
Twice, I’ve received orders by someone for a book they authored - and one was for a book that was a decent best-seller and is still in print - but I don’t think this counts. Sure didn’t miss it, however (and I also refrained from writing something snarky on the packing slip).
