I have to apologise to my best friend for letting her find out my good news via the internet instead of directly from me.
My only excuse is that I wasnt sure where she was, home or work, and well, if she is home…she is online.
She has been a rock through many months of this, quietly feeding me tea and listening to me when I needed her. She has kept my kids so I could visit the hospital.
I dont know what I would have done without her. And someday, when I need her again, I know I can count on her.
