GT, Bundle up, It’s really yucky outside!
I know! I put on a fleece scarf under my raincoat. And we took umbrellas, which we actually had to use part of the time.
Walked by the high school football game; our school was 5-0 going into this game. We’ll see if they can keep it up. It was 1/2 time at the end of our walk, so I walked back near the stadium to try to get closer to my 10,000 steps. We have a really good band - and probably play the longest half-time show in Central Ohio - but they’re really good. I think practically every kid is in band, too - it’s a big group. They did four or five sets, I think.
Brother and nephew are watching a comedian I don’t really care for; they’re taunting me for not spending time with them. Maybe I’ll find a chick flick for all of us to enjoy.

Just burnt my finger so badly! Huge blister. The oven mitt had a hole (apparently!) so I grabbed a hot cookie sheet with my finger exposed.
Owie.
Ouch, that sucks,** Soapy.** I’ve done that before and I know it really hurts. I once burned the heal of my palm because I didn’t realize I didn’t have enough mitt covering the lip of a baking pan; it was my bare flesh. It took all my self-control to not just drop the pan.

Aw, poor Soapy. I’ve managed to pull hot pans out of the oven successfully, only to accidentally brush my bare arm against the egde of the pan while closing the oven door. (maybe that’s why I don’t bake anymore?) 
The cookies were tasty, at least.
Ow.
Ouch, Soapy! A wet hot pad will do that to you too, don’t ask how I know that. I have more scars on my hands and arms from burning myself on the oven than I care to count.
Tomorrow is niece #1’s slightly delayed 3rd birthday party. Burgers on the grill and all that good stuff. 
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 58 degrees Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 75. At least I can’t complain I’ll get overheated foolin’ with a hot smoker. Tonight’s low will be :eek: 45 Amurrkin :eek:!!!111 A definite cool front comin’ through.
Ouchie Soapy! At least the cookies were good. Good cookies can make lots of bad stuff better.
Now I shall seek out more caffiene. I must also make myself somewhat presentable. Ok, it ain’t like the smoker cares what I look like but one must face the day somewhat clean, right? Also, rumbly tummy thinks a PB&J would be good.

I’m waitin’ for daylight so I can see if’n I need more wood on the smoker. I got it goin’ and got the <snerk> butts <snerk> on via flashlight and twucks headlights. Don’t wanna keep turnin’ on headlights so for daylight I await.

Wake up? I never went to sleep! Well, I did. It didn’t work. I’ve been up all night. I’ve been working with clay since 6 and I think I just made a beautiful pendant. I mean, georgous. I have no clue how it will look once it’s baked and glazed but I have high hopes.
Up, caffeinated, off to irk.

4:24am. :eek: Insomnia again. If this keeps up Ima hafta look up my friend and get some more of this beautiful Apple wine/brandy.
Used up about half my pile of scrap clay. Made a bunch of new pendants. Think I’m gonna give this sleep thing another try. If I can sleep until noon, I should be good for the rest of the day and still be able to sleep tonight. I hope.
Up very early for a Saturday as mr ems had to go to work and he has to carry the ice water pump thingy I am hooked up to from the boudoir to the living room as I can’t quite manage that and walking and crutches.
But I can’t go back to sleep boooooo. So I watched FaceOff on TV now I am watching Today and then I don’t know…oh I know I need to make a grocery list!
Suppose I could get brekkie. Urgh today will be a long day.

Smoker be smokin’ away! I added more pee-can wood. Now I smell like a smoked pee-can. I’m also on the watch for anybody who may come up and be of a mind to lift the lid on the smoker. It will mean BooFae’s pointy stick to anybody that dares or even looks like he/she might want to peek. If’n you want stuff to smoke ya gotta leave it alone.

I should not be left alone unsupervised when I am feeling so much better and yet I am still mobility restricted.
HEE! I just got off the phone with a church member. She asked if we were makin’ that wonderful bbq sauce. I told her, “yep, made it all the way to Sam’s Club and bought it just like always!” It’s called “Cattleman’s” and comes in both tomato and mustard based flavors.

It’s acutally cool enough here that I wore big boy pants instead of shorts today. Imagine!
Good morning everyone. I was up at 6:00 to let the dogs out, but after I let them back in I curled up and went back to bed until eight.
Caffienation is now in progress.
I don’t think I’ll be seeing my daughter this weekend because she has class on Saturdays. She’s not overly happy about it, but it’s a class she needs for graduation.
We don’t have any real big plans for the weekend. Getting some stuff done around the house and possibly a bike ride if the rain holds off.
