Don’t faint y’all, but I haven’t wanted any dindin. I’m still full from brunch today. We had waaaaaaaaaaay good eats! I talked to OYKW a little bit ago. He’s at his place doin’ laundry and such. He said the same thing. When two on the largish side men are still full from brunch, well, now, that’s a brunch!
Did the brunch table have the big tureen of bacon? Cuz if it did, that’s all I would eat, except for mebbe a few scrambled eggs. And a few pieces of melon so it looked like I was eating healthy.
Din-din here was sweet tatie with cinammon butter, and chicken breast with mushroom cream sauce. Now the Cheez-Its are calling me.
Today was a beautiful autumn day and I had a nice trail ride on my horse WB. He doesn’t like THINGS on the ground and at one point almost had a meltdown when one side of the trail had a mud puddle and the other side had a big sewer grate. I could feel him thinking “one side or the other is going to eat me.” I told him “I haven’t let anyone eat you in the 24 years we’ve been together, I won’t start now.” So he put on his big boy pants and tippy toed between the 2 monsters.
Hehehehehehehe! I just now figured out that you were talking to me.
Thanks!
Didn’t have to work, so I went and got deheathanated, then went to Waffle House for breakfast. I helped Roomie bake wedding cakes, then watched the Packers crush the Broncos. I’m having a gin and tonic, since i was worried that my scurvy was acting up.
I haven’t dared look at the picture, but am glad you’re going to the doctor tomorrow, rosie.
Forgot to say earlier that I really liked your creations as well, shortdrum. Very nice.
Hee. Nicknames can really sneak up on you, can’t they?
Also, I believe I failed to vote on the Bumba/tutu issue. I vote yes.
Nephew was very asleep when I got up, so I let him sleep in some and managed to get him to Sunday school on time (that’s the part his mom cares about). We went to brunch at First Watch, then went to their house because niece was tired and wanted to lounge. So we all hung out in the family room for a while and watched most of Jumanji.
Got home midafternoon and played around with pictures for a while, went to the local “Taste of…” event and had some nice pizza and tortelloni (from two different places) and then went for a nice long walk. Am now continuing the great photo clean-up. Woo hoo!
Hope everyone’s had a reasonable Sunday.
Hugs.

Happy Monday everyone!
See now, I don’t have a job so I can say that.
Are we continuing the MMP from last week, or will someone start up a new one. I’m too chicken to start a new one.
My head is splitting.
It’s not a migraine. It’s the cumulative effects of sleeping half the day because I felt like crap, not eating properly, then taking a double dose of ADD meds in an attempt to focus on classwork. Classwork is “Fundamentals of Linux”, and the teacher is so disorganized in her approach, I really, really want to re-do her entire semester and charge her a great deal of money for it.
Tonight, I’m supposed to learn different Linux text editors. VI killed my brain. Seriously. I can do command line interface, but the mutant offspring of CLI and text editors, where you have to change between command mode and entry mode made several hundreds of thousands of neurons run amok.
If it weren’t for the former fellow church member/acquaintance/friend on Facebook who talked me down and explained that VI does not like large text blocks but wants a <RETURN> at the end of every line, like a typewriter, I’m pretty sure my existence would have ended with a muffled explosion, a twitching, headless corpse, and a really ugly clean up.
Fucking vi. Goddammit. My head hurts SOOOOOOO much. I plan to kill it now.
there’s usually a link to the next MMP in each one that ends, as well – 1 post above yours, in fact
