And now, Chris Matthews of MSNBC

When David Gregory was forced out at NBC he ended up at CNN but I don’t think they use him much. I’m sure CM would not mind going to CNN as well.

Belongs on FOX, doesn’t even know the difference between Communism and Socialism. As others noted, loud, obnoxious, ignorant, insulting. Good riddance.

I think Steve Kornacki gave a touching fair well speech to Chris Matthews. He obviously liked the old loudmouthed coot. Cancel culture will probably object but I don’t hold that against Kornacki. He seems like a good guy.

Why should he apologize? The left has called Trump a Nazi and worse. But no need for them to apologize, correct?

Oh I know I know! Because there is no need to apologize for telling the truth?

Correct.

I don’t know why Trump supporters get so worked up over this. The Nazis had a charismatic leader, a plan, were organized, achieved some initial success…

Take it as a compliment. It can’t be often that you get one.

Ask MSNBC why they got so worked up over a Nazi reference from Chris Wallace. The left is eating their own!

MSNBC, why did you get so worked up over a Nazi reference from Chris Wallace? Didn’t even know he was our own.

Just curious - have the on air personnel at MSNBC called anyone else a Nazi? Is it normalized behavior in any way?
In all seriousness, I wish Chris Matthews the best in his battle with cancer. I thought his goodbye was brief, but well written, and seemed sincere.

Good riddance. I often have MSNBC on in the background while I’m doing something else, but I’ll change the station when he’s on. He might not be terrible as a commentator when someone else is hosting, but I honestly don’t understand why anyone would want to be interviewed by him. He reminds me of Joe Piscopo imitating Frank Sinatra (how’s that for a topical reference?)

Wait. You think Chris Wallace is a liberal?

And how is that a response to me accusing Trump of not even being as competent as Hitler?

Ill Douche’s physical resemblance mirrors Il Duce’s competence much more closely.

Uncanny.

I didn’t particularly like or dislike CM, and found him somewhat interesting in his political commentary, but firing him practically mid-broadcast? Yeesh, that’s harsh.

Naw, EH, it’s pretty obvious that he quit unexpectedly. Now he may have been supposed to give his speech at the end of the show, but what he did wasn’t planned and it wasn’t done by MSNBC - it was done by Chris.
