and now...presenting Baldric

Hi! I’m Baldric, ghandi’s kitty. I’ve kindof taken over her computer, because I’m so cute. And I figured you’d all want to hear from me.

I’m about 8 weeks old. I’ve got black fur all over my back and the top of my head, and white fur on my tummy and chest and chin. And I have a little black patch of fur on my chin, so I have a goatee. I keep it well groomed, even though I hear that goatees are going out of style. (Not like that matters, because I’m a kitty. I’m always stylin’ baby.)

One of the nice people that take animals to ghandi’s animal hospital found me. I was outside by a road, and two big roary machines tried to eat me. But this lady picked me up and took me to ghandi’s work place. She gave them lots of green stuff and I got poked and felt and got a few needles, and then I was put in the kennels. I guess that lady didn’t want me.

In the kennels, there were dogs and other cats. I got to meet a kitty named Cecil, who has all sorts of weird criss-crossies on his face. He said that ghandi and the vets saved his life and that everyone is really nice. We were in kennels next to each other, and he would always reach out his paw and hold my paw. He was nice.

And then I met ghandi. She opened my kennel and started talking to me, and she was really nice, so I gave her lots of kitty kisses. She said she was going to take me home, and she did. She brought me a blankie and a carrier and took me outside and put me in one of those roary machines. That was scary. I thought the roary machine had eaten me, but she was there and it had eaten her too. And then the roary machine roared for a while, and then ghandi got out and pulled me out. So it didn’t eat me. Not for long. And she took me to this big place, with lots of fun toys and food and places for me to run. And this crazy blue cat that lives in a bubbly box with clear stuff. He won’t play with me. I try to get him to, but he won’t. No matter how much I mew. I don’t think he likes me, but ghandi loves me. She plays with me, and talks to me, and holds me and lets me do her hair with my claws. And I like to give her kisses. And purr. And she brings other people to play with me. So life is good. Just wanted to let you all know.

I’ll let her have her computer back now.

Bye bye!

(Arg…he didn’t hit the post button. But that’s okay. I’ll do it for him because he’s cute and has a furry butt. ~ghandi5569)

Ooh Baldric, it sounds like you’re a tuxedo kitty, very stylish.

Why don’t you ask ghandi (funny - one of our dogs is named Gandy) to post your picture? She sounds like a very nice person to give you a home.

Awwwwww who’s the widdle kitty? Who’s the widddddddle kitty? Is it you? Oh yes it is! Ohhhhh yes it isssssssssssssss

And now on Television in America, we’ve imported a successful comedy show from England and adapted it to our own special tastes: Robin Williams stars in African-Americanadder:

“Baldric, get your ass in here!” “Hey, that’s Follically-challenged Rick, to you!”

Good on ye for taking in wee Baldric, ghandi. (I hope that Cecil doesn’t miss him too much.)

It’s so sweet of you to have brought him home, I’ll overlook the sucky OP.

I think I just got a cavity.

But, M’Lord, does Baldric have a cunning plan?

If he does, it’ll be as cunning as a fox who’s just been made Professor of Cunning at Oxford University…

Darn!! Hit submit before I finished.

What I wanted to add is, well, we all know what they’re like

[SIZE=1]What?! I’m allowed to say things like that, I’m an alumnus of the better place  d&r[SIZE=1]

Thanks to ghandi, Baldric may some day have a nice turnip of 'is own.
