And that's the Geico15th out of the game!

I watch American football, and i’m also a huge baseball fan. As in, subscribe to MLBTV and often watch multiple games a day.

I’m also a fan of soccer, and of the English Premier League in particular.

To be quite honest, in the big scheme of things, the sponsorship on the soccer players’ uniforms doesn’t worry me very much at all. It’s enough compensation to be able to watch a game that basically never stops, and that has no commercial breaks for 45 minutes at a time.

Baseball has natural breaks in which advertising can be inserted, so ads between innings and during pitching changes don’t worry me too much. Same with cricket, which shows commercials between overs. I do, however, really object to the sort of shit raised by the OP, as well as to the fact that FOX was able to dictate a longer break between innings during the postseason in order to allow the insertion of more commercials.

As for American football, i’d gladly take some logos on the players’ uniforms in exchange for losing some of the ridiculously long breaks in play.
