Andros vs. Ugly - the Aftermath

Ok, it wasn’t exactly a death match, we just had dinner. :slight_smile:

My wife and I had the extreme pleasure of having dinner with Andros last night here in good old SLC. As some of you may have seen, we had planned a mini-dopefest for last night.

Diane was all set to come as well, but had a sick little one to take care of (I hope he’s feeling better Diane!). Depending on schedules, we may try to get together once more before Andros leaves town. And Andros said that Byz had wanted to come but was unable to make it.

It wasn’t a wild party, but we had a good time. I will state for the record that Andros is not the horrible person you all said he was in email (hee hee, just kidding Andros!)

We talked about our businesses, a little about hobbies, and some about the message board. My wife and I both had our 1 “once in a great while” drink, and we had a good time. Andros is a smart, charming, and thoroughly likable individual. A great way to break my dopefest virginity (but I was looking forward to some FEMALE dopers! Oh well.)

Anyway, I hope his business goes well for the rest of his stay in town, and now I’m looking forward to the next larger gathering that’s close enough to get to.

I am glad to hear you two had a great time! Did you take any photos? Please let me know if you meet again before Andros leaves. I would really love to meet with you all!!!

My son is doing a lot better, hopefully. I keep thinking it’s all over then the barfing starts up again. It wasn’t food poisoning as originally suspected but some weird virus that has been going around. The waiting room in our little medical clinic out here in BFE was full yesterday, including three other kids from my son’s school and even a teacher.

The new medication seems to be working great, although I am keeping my fingers crossed. After this, the poor kid will never touch Jello, 7-up, or apple juice again.

Andros did bring a camera, and had the waitress take a couple of shots of the three of us. I don’t want to speak for him, but I’m pretty sure he intended to send them to Techchick, presumably to post.

My schedule this week is looking ugly (seems only right, somehow) but it’s hard to say about Wednesday. If anything comes up, I will be sure to let you know, and I’m Andros will as well.
