I’m a bit surprised that it’s Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s that’s suing and not Burger King. Then again, maybe BK considers itself too big to get involved with such a petty squabble (or has a better sense of humor about it).

Well, Hardee’s (owned by Carl’s Jr) burgers pretty much taste like ass, IMHO, so it’s about time someone called them on it.
