of native marsupials, alien test subjects and returns…
Just a few of the possible (yet irrational) theories of erratic marsupials. From the early 70’s to the early 80’s, many people have reported seeing kangaroos across the U.S., especially the Midwest. Some have even been reported to have been extremely large in size and have killed livestock and pets of locals bringing up the possibility that they are mutations or some sort of alien life.
What are your takes on these sightings?
I think somebody has been reading Loren Coleman again…
Yes, I did see those news accounts, and I believe that the correct explanation is that these are the animals that Noah kicked off the Ark. Evidently God has chosen to rectify the error, or perhaps it’s simply another manifestation of His Perfect Purpose for Our Lives, but either way, kangaroos and other marsupials have been mysteriously appearing worldwide, many of them belonging to species hitherto unknown to science.
Here is the Noah’s Ark story.
DDG, I thought that the story of Noah’s Ark was here. And not to disappont everyone with dreary rationality, but maybe they’re escaped pets?
On a related note, any cryptozoology site worth its IPS will mention Britain’s big cats. Evidentally, several exotic pets (cougars and black panthers mostly) escaped captivity in England over the years, and are successfully breeding as feral cats. The seem to eat mostly roe deer, sheep, pet dogs, and foxes. They’ve frightened alot of Brits, but I haven’t heard any reports of them hurting any people. Like Bigfoot, they’re apparently smart enough to leave humans alone.
Chronos: That’s what I thought too, but when I checked out the 1974 Chicago kangaroo incident involving two police officers. The police checked every exotic pet shop, zoo, and traveling circus that they knew of.
So atleast some local areas in which marsupials could be found were checked out in most cases.
“Noah did everything just as God commanded him”, but God never told him not to throw animals overboard.
