I’ve said a lot of stupid things in the past (and probably will in the future), so I cut people a lot of slack and try to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I’ve heard and read Ann Coulter’s stuff enough to have decided that she really is a psychotic cunt.

Incidentally, I’m a left-winger, and I do understand that Soviet agents were a real threat in the country in the 1950’s, just as terrorism is a real threat now. But McCarthyism was un-American, and the wrong response, then as it is now. I believe my country is strong enough to deal with serious threats without giving up its core principles.
