I used to think that Coulter was the craziest, but after Franken tackled that LaRouchian this week, I just think she’s the worst at hiding it. (Note that I know Franken does all those USO shows for the troops, and I’m grateful for it. I’m not questioning his character. Just his stability.)

If there really were a just god, these people would be forced to give up their media deals and work six months either in a garage or a construction site, where they would have to deal with real people, solve real problems, and put in a day of real work. Then let them work with children in a daycare center for six months under supervision. Then put them back in front of a camera and see how goddamned smug and know-it-all they act.

Kerry and Clark could especially learn a lesson. While they were frivolously wasting their young adulthood in the jungles of Vietnam Bush was bravely running away from Guard duty in Alabama.

Bush then spent time as a humble Texas oil executive and a simple baseball owner before he made the tough decision to trade on his father’s name and become a Republican party sock puppet.
