So did Hillary Clinton, but I doubt any of Coulter’s fans will give Hillary the same respect. Maybe if she tried writing with more shrill and less civlilty…
We tend to get that same answer when we have a gun-control thread right here in GD.
I think Coulter is an obnoxious woman, but I wouldn’t call her stupid. In fact, I suspect she’s brilliant, in a Machiavellian sort of way.
Her shrill tones are calculated. She’s a saleswoman. She packages up stuff conservatives want to hear and creates a personality that allows her to be an attack dog. She doesn’t need to articulate policies with supreme accuracy - she just needs to be strident.
She is the right’s Michael Moore, as I said earlier. Although she’s a lot smarter than Mike. But both of them are masters at packaging. Coulter’s books sell better than any other political books I can think of. She’s the literary Rush Limbaugh.
I certainly will give Hillary credit for being disciplined, very intelligent and an outstanding student.
Coulter’s physically attractive. I don’t care for her politics, no big deal, there are a lot of people whose politics I don’t care for. It’s all that hate in her heart that keeps bubbling to the surface and spewing things like “Treason.”
If only her parents had gotten her that pony she wanted so badly but never got back when she was eight years old, I think she would have turned out better.
And yet her best friend is Bill Maher.
Go figure.
Well… never expected this to turn into a “Coulter is kinda cute”/“Coulter is a hideous bitch” thread… but I can pretty much guarantee this is the only board anywhere where there are people having this conversation…
Most right-wing Labour is far to the left of the compassionate conservative
Sorry, are you arguing for Coulter’s intelligence, or against?
True of the past perhaps - but not of this Govt by a long shot. David Blunket (Home Office Minister) is pretty much on a par with Thatcher in my opinion.
And, to avoid this being a complete hijack - that picture of Ann does look pretty good and of course we don’t her on TV over here…but she sounds hideous!

At which school?
-
Which law review? Most schools have more than one, and the main journals is more prestigious than the other, more specialized journals. Here at Georgetown, for example, we have nine different journals and law reviews, and it’s no great shakes to “make” any but the main journal.

Was she an editor?
Being in law school right now, I can tell you that making law review–main journal or no–doesn’t say much about someone’s intelligence. If she was editor in chief of Harvard’s main journal (in their case, the Harvard Law Review), then it probably means she’s pretty smart. If she was line editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy at the Hoboken School of Law, however, that’s something else entirely.
Details, please?
Well, let’s not confuse crazy with being stupid. She is smart and crazy, which explains the sales and the exposure. She’s over the top a bit.
