I was… how do I put this… admiring her composure last night during her piece on the Amish schoolhouse killings. How difficult it must be to cover something like that and be able to walk the fine line between not losing it and coming across as insensitive. This is going to sound stupid but I found her expression and delivery to be just what was appropriate and needed throughout.
I agree. She did a great job. Unlike that twit on CNN that was trying to get the Amish grandfather to turn around and face the camera and be pissed off at the gunman’s family. What the ever-loving fuck. Ann asked the right questions and didn’t turn into a blithering idiot.

I caught a minute or two of the Today Show this morning and Matt and Ann were out in the plaza with the crowd. Apparently there were half a dozen or more people there from an Ann Curry fan club, the had signs and homemade t-shirts. I don’t know if it was friends/family or real fans, but it was funny thinking she’d have a fun club. One guy was reading something to her.
