From the info in the link, it sounds like this officer should have been fired long ago. It sounds like the only reason he wasn’t is because his father is a police Lt.

Yeah. This isn’t a debate. It might be a Recreational Outrage Pit thread, a “passing scene” MPSIMS thread, or a poll of SDMB views in IMHO.
