Maybe the bacon salt people of this board can answer this. Does it taste like bacon from America, Canada, or England. None of us have the same kind of cut. Australia never was in that thread, so I won’t be surprised if their’s is unique too.

Having received 2 bottles of each from fellow dopers I can tell you the regular one tastes like crispy bacon which tastes the same the world over

The peppered one much the same only …erm…peppery

They were surprised by my response and asked where I had heard about Bacon Salt. When I told them I learned about it from the Straight Dope, the guy told me he had heard of us dopers and that they sold a lot of their product because of us.

Is this a cool place or what?. I’m a veggie and I combine bacon salt with butter to put on toasted bagels.

Bacon Salt sounds intriguing…and tasty. I love me some bacon. I’ll have to remember to order some when I get some money!
