Another classical tune identification request!

Hi people,
Can anyone tell me where this classical tune comes from…
It’s bugging me !
TIA

(sorry, don’t know how to stop it looping)

Sounds kindaaaaa like this??

No, that’s no it, i know that one !
Thanks anyway !

Hey @K364 ! Don’t suppose you know this one ?
(link again)
I know i’ve heard it, but i can’t remember what it is !!!
Old age i guess.

When I heard it, I thought of Pictures at an Exhibition too. Maybe it’s some other Mussorgsky?

No idea but that tool is AWESOME. I use MuseScore which gives you a nice traditional, playable score and lets you share it, but for quick-and-dirty tune creation/sharing like you did here, this is miles easier. Wow, thanks.

It sounds a bit to me like a snippet of Bach’s “Air On The G String.”

It vaguely sorta reminds me of a couple of tunes:
Angel of Music
In a Persian Market

The clip in the OP is from the second section of the suite from Stravinsky’s The Firebird. Stravinsky | The Firebird (1919 Suite) | Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra - YouTube

Yes, it’s very handy ! There are alternatives but that’s my one of choice.

I can see the similarity in the Persian market one, thanks K365…

But the winner is …

Thanks rowrrbazzle ! That’s the one … you’ve saved me hours.

It seems i was mixing 2 sections the first half from here and the second
half from here.
But they’re both from the same piece, so no foul !
