After reading the thread and linked story in MPSIMS on the same subject, I was wondering how they died from smoke inhalation from a flag, unless the flag was made of Teflon or PVC, since one flag isn’t going to be able to produce deadly amounts of smoke (unless it is confined; how many people die from their barbecues, assuming they aren’t doing it inside). Evidently though, the picture shown in the aforementioned link (a guy waving a burning “American” flag around) isn’t of the actual flag.
On the plus side, I play a killer piano now.
Yeah. That’s the problem with killing the people shooting at you. You have to go where they are. The eye in the sky can follow them from where they ambush patrols and scatter back across the boarder where the troops cannot follow lest they create another incident but it can’t seperate the shooters from whoever else is in the house they enter.
The main reason Pakistanis are angry at drone strikes is for the same reason they are angry Osama was killed. It’s not because it is done in thier counry, afterall that is where the majority of Taliban are, and not even because of collateral damage, but because they are successful.
Yeah, right. They aren’t like real humans who get angry when you kill their friends and relatives; they are soulless killing machines who only care about their ceaseless, monomaniacal efforts to destroy America.
On an individual level you are correct of course. And too my reply doesn’t apply to those of south Pakistan who aren’t particularly fond of Taliban either.
