Hmmm. I just got my IKEA trip bumped from next weekend to the same weekend you are talking about. So I’m iffy.
vunderbob, please realize that I like doing this kind of thing, so don’t feel like you’re “requiring” anything of me. So help me God, I may be out of the restaurant business forever, but I have always enjoyed the planning and preparation of gatherings. I’m sure glad to get some help in the form of purchasing, preparation, or any way you feel comfortable, though.
And I come from a rather cohesive family that always potlucks, so that’s a reflexive response in me. Still, I’m willing to help. Maybe the Vunderkind can mow your back 40…

We bought a honking big boneless pork loin last night, so we’ll slice that bad boy up for chops.

P.S. If you guys bail on me this weekend, I swear I’m gonna cry!! The only time I’ve managed to get more than 6 people to come over at one time was for my briday shower. Every other time, asshats bail on me. And y’all don’t wanna get pitted by ME!!!

I have a couple packets of Johnsonville brats in my freezer. I’ll bring those. And I’ve been making salsa like a madman lately, so I’ll bring a batch of that. I suppose I can be forced to bring chips as well to consume the salsa.

I am a Hoosier born and bred now living in “a land far, far, away” and always looking for an excuse to go back home BESIDES illness, death, etc! I have 2 sisters in Indy, one in Franklin, one in Bloomington and Mom and Pop in Spencer. I’m the only one that left the area.
Unfortunately, I just found this thread tonight…too little time for cheap airfare and I have plans this weekend. DANG!
