So please please please respond before this thing sinks to the nether regions of MPSIMS-land, please. Suggestions for location and date wanted, although I’m thinking mid-October to give everyone a chance to plan ahead.

I would love to come to a Dope-Fest (I’m assuming that’s just a cute name for a gathering of this message-board’s regulars, and not a smoking competition of some sort…) I live in Duluth (well, I really live in Albert Lea, but I’ll be in Duluth for the remainder of the school year). Of course, nobody knows me so if I showed up I’d probably just get kicked out.
Actually, BlackKnight, I’ve noticed you around. In struuter’s thread about her love life, you mentioned being a 19 y/o male from Duluth. I responded to that thread that I used to live in Moose Lake, then Cloquet. I guess you never saw that. Anyway, we wouldn’t kick you out. Of course not.
Silver Fire, we’ll have it in St. Cloud, especially since Black Knight has expressed an interest - it really is centrally located to pretty much everyone.
As for at which restaurant…well, I dunno. I was kind of thinking of O’Hara’s, as it’s kind of a nice place, mostly decent service, and not too noisy. All other suggestions welcome, however

Does anyone have ideas as to a date for this to take place? I am so happy that no one minds having it in St. Cloud, because I am such a coward about driving to the Twin Cities. If I get my house cleaned up by then, people could come over here also. It is pretty big and my s.o. has a big screen TV. We have lots of animals so it might not work for anyone with allergies.

so BRAINERD would be a more reasonable approach, closer to Duluth anyhow, and the Green Mill has really good food, a 5 star restaurant…

That sucks, Ad Noctum. Too bad you couldn’t catch a ride with someone. Maybe a parent could bring you to Duluth and you could catch a ride with BlackKnight? Maybe?

It’s just that I realized something vitally important: I have no car. Unless I could convince my roommate to drive me there (not likely) I don’t think I’ll be able to make it. Please don’t inconvenience yourselves by planning around me.
