Another Product Recommendation Thread

One of my favorite new things is Bodi Boom! Body Bing! Maximum Bodifying Treatment, for the hair. Keep in mind, I am a hair product freak. In addition to many different kinds and brands of shampoos and conditioners, I have a bathroom closet full of mouses, gels, sprays, treatments, foams, salves, and cremes for hair. I’ve been doing this for years. My hair is fine and wavy, and can look incredibly crappy, but with the right cut and hair products, it can look very nice.

Now that I’ve found this product, it will be mine for life. It makes your hair PERFECT. Trust me on this, I know my hair care products. Every time I went to my hairdresser I’d marvel at how thick, shiny, and healthy my hair looked and how she could make my hair look so good and yet when I did it the next day it looked nothing like that. Then finally I figured out that it was what she was putting on it, and I bought a bottle from her. Not cheap, at $8.50 for a 4 oz spray bottle, but not outrageous either. And oh so worth it- I love this stuff. I couldn’t find a distributor on the internet, but better google-foo or a nearby Fashion Cuts might work.

The fluffy socks I got in Dunnes Stores, €3 for 2 pairs, they are the warmest, cosiest things to have on your feet in bed, or anywhere that you want to keep your feet warm

Lift Off® #3 Pen, Ink & Marker/Graffiti Remover.

The name doesn’t start to tell it all. I use it for everything.
Removes impossible shoe marks on vinyl, removes gum from tags and tape residue.
Cleans a great many things that others don’t.
Almost as powerful as paint solvent, but won’t harm cloth or plastic.

I highly recommend:

Aileen’s Okay to Wash It fabric glue. Great for attaching embroidered patches to Scout, Army or police/fire uniforms. No more sewing (patches are a pain to sew) and the patch stays attached permanently, no matter how many tmes you wash the uniform.

Acetone from the hardware store to use as nail polish remover. Its price is a sixth of what nail polish remover costs - and it’s the same stuff. I keep an old bottle that held Revlon remover and just pour the hardware store acetone into it because the hardware cans are big and unwieldy.

Aussie Hair Insurance Leave-In Conditioner. It’s inexpnsive and does a great job. In fact. I recommend the entire Aussie line of hair products.
