All the yahd work is done! MOOOOOOM I know what you mean about this July weather. It’s only 85 Amurrkin here. In south Jawja! In July! With low humidity! I mean, we chainsawed a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig limb and drug it out to the alley plus I mowed, edged, and used the blower to clean up two yahds and did not even break a sweat! In south Jawja! In July!
Now I’m on a cookin’ frenzy. Not as nuts as Muppet’s but still a frenzy. I have three slow cookers goin’. One has a roast for tomorrow’s dindin. One has some chicken boobs and laigs for another night’s dindin. The third has a small ham for yet another night’s dindin. Actually I figure they shall be entrees for dindins all week. Tomorrow will be the big one, however. I ate either leftovers or sammiches all last week and ol’ y’all know who was in Nashville at trainin’ so he ate restaurant food all week. Thus, we are in need of home cookin’. So tomorrow, there shall be a pot roast, squash, corn, fried okra, cornbread and a peach cobbler. It’s also men’s night at the church but we need home cookin’ so we’re blowin’ this month off. MMMMMM… I’s hongry just thinkin’ about it.
