This basically is what I was going to post. I think Jerry Falwell said once he was attracted to men sometimes, but I can’t say for sure it was him as I cannot find the quote. That’s when I realized the truth of the idea bup posted here.
Not really. I just think it’s funnier picturing some guy slumped over him going at it.
I don’t think that it’s just a matter of projection ( although I’m sure it plays a part ); the idea that homosexual sex is a temptation to everyone is a widespread part of the anti-gay worldview ( at least in modern America ). After all, if it isn’t tempting then the pernicious homosexuals can’t tempt and corrupt and pervert the innocent heterosexuals into one of them. If they admit the truth, that straights just plain aren’t interested, then they lose a major part of their paranoid fantasies about homosexuals.
To clarify, that was ‘gayer gender’. 
It always has interested me how heterosexuality is supposed to be 1) the natural and eternal way all humans are from birth, and 2) a frail flower that shrivels at the merest hint of homosexuality.
So, the only question is that of malfeasance. Was he using public funds to do this opposition research?

The thing with these kinda people are, they are gay, they know they are gay, and they know they are closeted.
The mor “normal” that gay becomes (no discrimination, legalisation of gay marriage etc) the worse they feel, because there are millions out there who are living their lives and being accepted, and being happy doing it… but they are stuck in the closet.
I think he genuinely hates openly gay people, and gay marriage, and any young kid who comes out to his parents in backwater Alabama, because it’s just another reminder that he’ll never be that happy with himself or who he is.
He may tell himself he isn’t gay, but he knows he is. Deep down he knows it.
If having sex with a member of the same sex makes you gay, then why doesn’t having sex with a member of the opposite sex make you straight?
I can’t tell if you’re going for “funny” or “obtuse”?
It does make me straight, which considerably helps the process along.
I’m going for a reductio ad absurdum, to prove that “having sex with a member of the same sex makes you gay” is false and doesn’t make any sense.
Of course, strictly speaking, sex with a member of the same sex doesn’t mean you’re necessarily gay. But unless there’s coercion or a sex worker who only has gay sex for the money or something, the null hypothesis is that you’re gay or at least bi. If someone voluntarily seeks out homosexual sex, especially repeatedly, then they’re deluded if they think they’re 100% straight.
From my observations over the years, most men aren’t straight. Most of us curve upwards a bit.

We’re not talking about something so simple. It’s when you sneak around, hoping not to get caught, trying, in fact, not to have gay sex, but you just can’t help it, and end up going out to meet people so you can get your gay sex fix. *That *gay sex means you’re gay.

If you do that, it almost certainly means you’re gay. But you were gay before you did it- you didn’t become gay because of what you did.

No one here is saying otherwise. We’re saying it’s disingenuous for guys to deny having same sex attractions when they obviously do.
