Influenced by the ‘are there any normal gamers out there?’ thread in IMHO in which Abe Babe brought up the question of whether there are any RPGers in the Chicagoland area – are any of you out there, and if so, what do y’all think about doing some gaming?
Me, I typically play D&D 3rd edition, but wouldn’t be averse to trying other d20 games or settings (I’m itching to try Call of Cthulhu, the upcoming d20 Modern or Four Color to Fantasy <superhero RPG>).
Any takers?

I haven’t played AD& D in ages. My fantasy sword swinging game has been ICE’s Arms law for some time. Also, I more typically play board games, but I would be interested in RPG’s if someone else is. I have a buddy who played in one of the Diplomacy games who would also be interested.
I am north suburbs, by the way.
I’m in the Northwest Suburbs, but the only gaming I’ve done recently is by email (Amber, Rifts and currently one of my mailing list members is starting us up with an AD&D variation). Rifts was interesting enough that I actually bought one of the gaming books.
