Any Congresspeople genuinely give you the creeps?

Rick Scott looks like Grandpa Flick from Dr. Sleep.

Looks more like Dr. Evil who now has cancer and is losing weight rapidly.

Looks more like Kane from Poltergeist 2.

Well, that’s like, your opinion, man!

Me, too.

When I was in high school the two candidates for the school board had a debate in our auditorium. Henry Waxman was one (I believe it was his first elected office). The other guy and his associate rang claxon-like alarm bells. After the debate the associate distributed campaign “literature.” They were Birchers.

MTG has been stalking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for years. She’s creepy as fuck.

Rick Scott looks like the reason Gollum and Voldemort swore off pipeweed and butterbeer after that inebriated hookup.

:joy: Gold!

Trust your gut.

My mother dated Hank Waxman when she was in college. She always said if things had gone differently i’d be in politics now

(She never had anything bad to say about him and they remained friends afterward. I met him a couple times when he came to some family events).

I would not leave Matt Gaetz alone with money or minor children.

Can we leave him alone in an oubliette?

Well, I’d have given yours if I were you…

LOL. He was a good congressman.

I wouldn’t leave my legal aged wife or dog in the same room with him either. I’m not saying “legal aged dog” btw.

Maybe you should.

I remember really liking him, but I don’t exactly remember why.

OMG! Are they reviving Phantasm?

He’s not that tall.

( That said and as an unabashed hijack, you’d make this my happiest Halloween ever if you could whisper into some power broker’s ear about a total reboot of Phantasm! The first movie is dated now, but it was so much of a snapshot of it’s time. The ‘small-town USA 1976’ vibe was so spot-on! The bonding between older and younger brothers… a later TV show called ‘Supernatural’ tapped into that and it had a cult following for 15 years. Also, Reggie as the buffoon was the perfect foil.

Of course, there would be complaints as the main characters were all male, but given that almost all of the new movies in the past 5 years have been made with female leads, I think 1-2 movies could be made and still maintain diversity.

PS- if anyone here says they’ve never seen it, here’s an Internet Archive link:

Phantasm 1-4 VHS : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive )

I liked Phantasm 2 better than one, but both were very solid.
