Any decent callendar apps out there?

I used to use Outlook for my callendar needs, but I’ve banished it from my computer.

I very much like iCal, but unfortunately, it’s Mac only. I’m just looking for something that’s simple, functionnal and aesthetically pleasing.

Anything like that?

Check out TimeCalendar from this company.

There are both free and paid versions. I downloaded the free version and it meets my needs nicely.

As I used to use a paper planner, I’m quite fond of Lotus Organizer, as it closely resembles and works like a paper planner. Bonus points if you’ve got a Palm organizer and want to ditch the paper planner.

You just answered your own question there. Buy a Mac, if only for iCal!

I have a Mac sitting on my desk right now. I don’t use it regularly, though, it’s an old, noisy beast. I need something that’ll run on my laptop as it’s my main computer. And, no, I’m not going to spend 3000$, plus whatever it’ll cost me to cross-grade my software, for an equivalent Powerbook just to run a calendar app.

Also, I am red with shame for committing such an ugly spelling mistake in my op. Calendar.

rainlender - it’s really simple, functional and your wallpaper is the calendar background.

erm, functional if all you need is to circle dates, that is.

Try Sunbird, or Mozilla Calendar. I was looking for a windows fac-simile of iCal but could not find one. I was toying with the idea of starting a project on sourceforge just for that…
