Are any other dopers going to The Amazing Meeting 4 at the end of January in Las Vegas? I haven’t been to any of the previous ones, but decided a few weeks ago to use up some frequent flyer miles and go.
Speakers include the Mythbusters guys (and their hot red-headed assistant Kari), physicist Murray Gell-Man, the ACLU’s Nadine Strossen, Julia Sweeney, and, of course, the Amazing Randi.
AFAIK, I won’t know anyone else there, but if there are some fellow dopers, maybe we can meet up.
No, can’t afford it, but I wish. I must console myself with reading the weekly commentary and trying to think logically at all times.
I’d love to go. One of these years I’m definately gonna. Report back and tell us how it was!
