Any I-Pad wizards here?

Bought the wife a new I-Pad. Migrated everything over from the cloud backup. For some reason logins and passwords don’t port over. OK. When I enter login and password, the various apps will not save the passwords. Checked settings, checked Safari private mode which seems to be off, still no luck.

Anyone encounter this before? Is it a “new enhanced security feature” in IOS 18 or is it some type of bug? Or some stupid user error?

Have you set up and enabled iCloud Keychain?

Under ICloud Passwords and Keychain is the option to “sync this iPad”. It’s green which probably means yes. Is that what you mean?
