Sucks you can’t make it Omi. Your barbarian kickassedness will be missed. Hope to see you next weekend!
Server will be up tonight starting at 6:00 pm EST. Feel free to come in and level up your characters. I’ll try and be there a little early as DM so we can get the newbies up to our current level.

Practice using the f menu. It’s really one of the best UI improvements over NWN 1. I’m setting the server so that we won’t have to worry about friendly fire. There’s enough terror in those halls.
Ok, I’ve got NWN2 and xfire setup. I’m runcible on xfire, runcible spoon on NWN2. So, now for a character: I can do either wizard or sorcerer - basically, it’s a choice between flexibility when I rest, or when the shit hits the fan. Are there going to be places where we can rest and recharge? And, how much general-purpose spellcraft are we going to need? Is it mostly just monsters, or am I going to want detect/knock/whatever spells, too? Any recommendations?
Okay, found the program book and now I know I’m running games on both Sat and Sun from 2pm-6pm Central. I can make it back home by about 7pm either night - that may push it kind of late for the rest of you. Let me know.
Sorry I missed you guys! Did you finish it? Still in progress? I was with my family most of the day Sunday and couldn’t get away. But keep me posted if you are planning on finishing it - or if finished, starting a new module.
Okay, aside from me not being able to make xfire work correctly and not remembering that sorcerers need CHA to be able to cast spells, that worked surprisingly well.
Before next time I’ll try to get the bugs worked out with xfire so y’all can hear me.
Yeah, voicechat is very helpful. I’m glad we got most of the wrinkles ironed out by the end – I wouldn’t mind trying it sans NPC’s, if we have at least as many next time as last time.
Figured out it’s not a xfire problem, it’s something wacky with my computer’s inputs and outputs. I can get sound out on the front, and sound in on the back. Not really a workable solution, so off to Best Buy I go for a USB headset.
Sorry guys! - I won’t have any play-time for a while, I just got a new job and I’ll be moving shortly. Best of luck – after the Tomb is finished, I vote we find yet another module to play.
