What I want to know is: what strip club were y’all going to?? And why didn’t we know about it before we left??? 
We didn’t go to one, we just walked past one. It was just down the street from the restaurant.

I’m serious when I say I haven’t been drinking at all today. I finished mowin’ the lawn, then I cleaned the truck, then I cleaned the house . . . and besides, Houston County is dry on Sundays.

Welcome to Georgia. In general, the entire state is dry on Sundays. You can get a drink with dinner in some resturants, but most bars are closed and all package stores are closed. The exceptions are generally “private” stores. These are clubs and stores that sell “memberships” for a nominal fee. Once you are a member, you can purchase alcohol 7 days a week.
