Bit short notice but I’ll do my best to be there.

Sorry about the short notice, I meant to revive this a few days earlier, but as of end of last week, I only saw one person possibly attending.
There is a tendency of BritDopers to lurk and then turn up unexpectedly. 
Thinking about it the Chandos is quite big so its probably worth it if we agree to meet in the upstairs bar. That at least narrows us down to a floor.
One thing that me and Bonzer (and others) talked about doing after the last meet up was putting a bit of paper on the table/bar/any available surface with “SDMB” on it - would mean nothing to anyone not “in the know” but could be useful for those who we haven’t met before.
Assuming I’m not too hungover from the night before I’ll try and remember to do this.

There are 3 things you will always see in a Tube carriage at any given time:
- Someone reading the Da Vinci code
- Someone reading Harry Potter
- Someone with a pair of headphones whose internal sound projection is seemingly inversely proportional to their external.
The sign is a good idea – last year, someone came to the pub but didn’t find us, and I felt awful about it. Anyone showing up: I will be there (God or gods willing), on the second floor, with a paper saying SDMB on the table.
Note that Circle and District lines are closed this weekend for repair.
Ah man, was supposed to be in London today, but had to put it off for a week. Bummer.
