As many of you may know, Sqrlcub and I are splitting up. The reasons are many and I really don’t want to go into them, but I am moving out this Saturday, Apr. 14 and was wondering if any Dopers in the DC area would be available to help me move. There aren’t a lot of big pieces of furniture – entertainment center and desk are the worst, chest of drawers, bookshelf, bed and dining room table and chairs. The rest is small stuff like lamps, boxes, etc. If any of you are willing or around, please let me know. I know this is short notice and the day before Easter, but any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I can’t help in the AM, dc, but I might be able to swing by later in the day. And I might possibly, if there’s a blue moon, bring my mom. Dunno.

I talked to my mother about it, and I’m not totally sure I’ll be able to make it. We’ve got plans with the exception of about an hour on Saturday, and I’m thinking she’ll want the hour to nap.

I’d help but can’t, my back is messed up bad enough as it is. I can’t take a chance on ending up bedridden for a couple days. I’ve already missed one day of work this month because I couldn’t stand up straight.
