On a serious note, I’ve been ashamed of my post count every since it reached multiple thousands (around 11k now) and was pleased as punch when Guest post counts were turned off. I feel for you, Elendil, and if I were a member I would absolutely let my membership expire just to hide my post count.
The PTB could always set up an additional sub-class of members: Customized post count.
Serious question, Elendil’s Heir: how much more are you willing to pay for a membership option that hides your post count? Maybe if it’s a (small) revenue generator like custom titles, the PTB would go for it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t hold out much hope.
