Anyway, last minute predictions for TLC.
Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns; this is a match that Roman needs to win, so of course he won’t. Shenanigans out the arse will occur and Sheamus will retain. My money’s on Roman winning the Rumble again next month and this match happening again at WrestleMania.
Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens; Ambrose should win this match, since all the titles are held by heels right now. He probably won’t, because Vince is terrified by the idea of someone getting a bigger pop that Roman, but he should. It’ll probably be a great match no matter who wins.
Alberto vs. Jack Swagger. ALBERTO GANA JAJAJA. The only way Jack wins this one is if they do a swerve where Zeb shows up, reunites with Jack, cheats for him to help him win, and they cut a post-match promo about how JACK SWAGGER’S AMERICA has finally arrived. Which would be pretty awesome, but I doubt it’ll happen.
New Day vs. Lucha Dragons vs. Usos. A multi-team tag titles match, and Los Matadores isn’t in it? What new spore of madness is this? The champs always retain in these matches, so New Day wins here.
Charlotte vs. Paige. Charlotte wins, because she’s the latest woman wrestler to receive a heel turn courtesy of boilerplate main roster “Bitches Be Crazy” booking.
The Wyatt Family vs. the Dudleyz, Tommy Dreamer, and Rhino. This is a “tables elimination match”, which I assume means that you have to put all four of the other team through tables in order to win. Which is weird, and probably should have been on Survivor Series instead of this show, but I digress. The Wyatts really need a win at this point, so they oughta win this one, but I wouldn’t be surprised if WWE gives the win to Team E-C-Dub.
Ryback vs. Rusev. Ryback wins via Dolph Ziggler interference.
I’m going to bed soon and I’ll check after I get off work tomorrow morning to see if I was right or not. Not really looking forward to this show, but we’re coming into WrestleMania season soon so things oughta get more interesting, I hope.
I dunno, if I was Jack Swagger, I’d be glad to be back on TV at all, but if I was Alberto, I’d be really unhappy with doing match #7,438 with Swagger.
I dunno, they want to make Charlotte stand out and take advantage of her daddy to get her over, and this is Vince, so Ric has to appear constantly, order her about, and she has to be the new ‘Dirtiest Player in the Game’.
Almost putting money that a not-nearly-ready Baron Corbin will make his way to the MR to be the next Unstoppable Monster who steamrolls right up to Cena, loses and then ends up in a comedy team a month later. (See also: Everybody) Although if it isn’t him, it’ll be Samoa Joe soon enough. Probably have him dancing with the Usos the next week.
Let’s pad the post count some more with TLC feedback as it happens.
As I’m waiting for the (cr)app to load, I’d like to point out Roman’s resemblance to Hogun the Grim in Marvel Avengers Alliance.
Kickoff isn’t showing. I can load other shows, but this one’s blank. I blame Vince.
Fixed it. Had to disable Adblocker.
Hehe. Ric Flair and Paige tore up that promo.
“You’re not the first woman to slap me. You’re far from the last. In fact, you look like one of my ex-wives.”
Sweet match between two of NXT’s Horsewomen. Why did they have to put all those ads in the middle? Good back and forth action, but still not as brutal as they’ve done on the internets.
This is the worst buffering I’ve ever experienced on the Network. Sound only, frozen picture. Both on Wi-Fi and LTE.
Holy shit!
Holy shit!
Holy shit!
Holy shit!
Lame ending, but otherwise a fucking ossome ladder match. Wonder if any of these guys are going to work tomorrow? Theys all took some sick bumps, especially the over-the-top Salina Del Sol onto the ladder abridgment. That looked painful.
Sorry, you still can’t make me interested in seeing ADR v Swagger on a PPV. Guess it’s time to do this sort of thing and just kinda listen for a while.
I guess Ryback vs Rusev was the chiller/piss break match.
Decent, but overshadowed by the previous Laddergeddon.
Still having buffering problems? Got any popup blockers active? It helps to drink heavily too.
Del Rio vs Swagger was better than expected. At least better than Rus vs Ry. No reason to believe Swagger would win with no buildup, and his Real American gimmick never allows him to triumph over the furreiners.
Fun tables match, but WWE just won’t go over the edge of PG. Would have had some fire and blood if it was ECW or LU.
buuuuurrrrrrrRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOO DADADADADA! DADADADADA!! DADADA!!
Congrats to Dean Ambrose! Best facial expressions in WWE! Toast of Glen Fiddich to the Ambster!
Balls, the Paige/Charlotte match would have been so much better if they didn’t concentrate so much on recreating Ric Flair’s glory years. Charlotte didn’t need to copy her old man to make it to the top. RKO and Bray Wyatt didn’t have to.
I also have the Patriots-Texans game on, and I found out where Damian Sandow is now.
He’s defensive coordinator for the Patriots!
When Ric is not on TV, he says things. ![]()
