Any WWE fans in the audience? (Part 1)

You seem to think Enzo is destined to be a heel manager. WWE’s pretty much done away with managers, except for Paul Heyman, because he’s too awesome to get rid of.

And what about 15-20 years from now?

The robots will have taken over.

More belts need to change hands on RAWs, I’ve said that for ages. Good for WWE for at least kinda-sorta teasing us that Ambrose could win.

…even though we totally know he isn’t.

(Also can KO fans stop bitching that he’s being buried now? Please?)

On the whole I think it was a good RAW. My biggest complaint is Charlotte’s promo. The hell was that? She was talking like I would talk to the weird foreigner at McDonalds. CAN. I. HAVE. A. BUR. GER. PLEASE.

RIP Mark Henry

I’m wondering if Ambrose is being groomed to become WWE champ? He’s taken the spotlight away from Reigns, that’s for sure.

AJ vs Miz was the match of the night. Never thought I would say that about a Miz match, but all the other matches (except the 5-way) were business as usual and took two minutes.

Noo-hoo Day-hee’s big moment at Fastlane will be to… introduce the Edge & Christian show. That’s BOO-TEH. Mark Henry, just retire. You can’t even put over new talent without looking like a polyethylene bag full of spaghetti.

That was a freaky match ending and I thought Mark Henry was possibly legit hurt at the end.

Not having seen any reports of issue, I’ll just go to “stupid assed ending”.

From what I’m reading, Henry suffered a legitimate rib injury last night.

Ambrose losing the title definitely stirs things up for Fast Lane - he’s now got a rematch with Owens, and the triple threat as well. They wouldn’t have him do double duty just to lose both matches, would they? WWE right now seems to think they can put Roman over if they book him the exact same way they booked Daniel Bryan, where he’s constantly an underdog who keeps getting opportunities but then loses because the Authority is stacking the deck against him - so an Ambrose turn would definitely shake things up, and it would work with how Steph has been trying to drive a wedge between them and tell Ambrose he doesn’t want to be the Marty Janetty of their team.

My prediction; if he wins the title back from Owens, then Reigns wins the main event (or Brock wins and we get Brock vs. Trips at 'Mania instead, with Reigns vs. Ambrose on the midcard). If Owens retains, then Ambrose wins the ME.

Not really sure why they’re bothering doing an Edge & Christian segment when there’s a perfectly good US title match they’re bumping to the pre-show to make room for it. Neither of them are ever wrestling again, so it’s not like this is going to build anything for 'Mania. Maybe they declare that they’ve been given the power to book New Day’s opponents for the tag title match at 'Mania and use it to bring out, say, Enzo & Cass, or Bullet Club.

Ambrose’s weird pseudo-turn thingy yesterday was stupid and pointless though. He just, for no reason at all, grabbed Reigns and tried to Dirty Deeds him. I understand that the most likely (read: easiest) way to book this is to have Ambrose turn heel, but can’t you give him an actual REASON for him to turn heel.

Maybe they’ll say something about it on Smackdown.

I’m surprised there are no gimmick matches (other than the triple threat), there’s a part of me that thinks Jericho and Styles will be something interesting

Because they’ve been pimping the hell out of the new E&C show on the Network.

Apparently, Brie was on Good Morning America today and said she’ll likely be retiring before the end of summer. Can’t say I blame her considering how Bryan talked about wanting to start a family.

She and Nikki seem like nice people who are devoted to their work, but it’s probably for the best that they step aside at this point so we can end the “Divas” thing and start treating women’s wrestling seriously in WWE.

Also gives Total Divas a new angle.

Can’t imagine she’d give that up. Any chance they make her champ then between Fastlane and Mania? Has she ever been champ?

She had a 2-month reign in 2011, beating Eve Torres and losing to Kelly Kelly.

So here’s a thing that has been announced for the Network;

The cruiserweight championship was one of the best things to come out of WCW’s heyday, though WWE never really knew what to do with it after the buyout. (The final cruiserweight champion, you may recall, was Hornswoggle.) If this is being run out of Full Sail, then it’s likely that Trips will be calling the shots and he’ll do a better job with it than the crazy old man in Stamford would. I’m fearful, however, that it could turn into a dumping ground for the guys who Vince is convinced aren’t big enough to be draws - Daniel Bryan would have been a cruiserweight by the standard this solicitation provides.

It’s not set to premiere until July, so here’s hoping they can do something worthwhile with it.

I recall WWE tried the Light Heavweight thing, but it just kind of fizzled out. Maybe because of the name.

95% of NXT is cruiserweight. The only ones I can think of offhand who aren’t are Cass, S Joe, Jason Jordan, and the Nu Horsemen. Oh yes, and Nia Jaxx

Is anyone able to replay the Feb 10th (last week’s) episode of NXT?

I can watch others, but both yesterday (several times) and just now, it tries over and over and then says “Media Error: Video not available”.

According to my sources (Ms. Cups) Wade Barrett informed WWE that he will not renew when his contract runs out this June.

Good for him.

He’s had an unfortunate history of being injured and I’m sure Vince doesn’t want to put him in a top spot anymore, so he may as well. Hell, there’s probably 20 guys in the locker room that would do that except for the really sweet 6-figure paycheck.

Worked for me.

Bad news about Barrett, but turnover seems to be the norm this year, and haven’t we all been wanting out with the old, in with the new?

More news I heard from people who heard it from other people…

A podcast I listen to (Solomonster Sounds Off…a good one) said that someone told him that CM Punk has had 16 simulated fights while UFC training…

…he’s lost 15 of them.

This was before the back surgery, so I’m sure that’s his excuse but…still…

I see what you did there.

So, what’s his next move? TNA, ROH?
