Here it is! The much anit-ticipated Teacups rumble prediction!

New Age Outlaws vs. Ascension: I’m torn about this match because I know the Ascension is going to win, which is fine with me because, despite WWE killing them, I like them (LOVE THEIR MUSIC!). But I also would love to see NAO win this match because I thought they wrestled pretty good when they first had their little run, and Billy Gunn looks huge!. Ascension in a walk.

New Day vs Swiss Catbud: WWE seems to be pretty behind The New Day huh? They’re getting a good push, pretty sure they haven’t lost yet, and they are getting a lot of airtime. Rose is on his way down (I think, who can really tell?), Cesaro is on his way down (although he might just be staying down) and Tyson is on his way up. So given that the already up team is facing 2 downers and an up…I’m going with New Day. Only swerve on that might be if they decide to resurrect the bunny angle…

Nattie and Paige vs The Bellas: Basically a giant commercial for total divas that means nothing because no title is up for grabs, so it almost seems like a token divas match that doesn’t need to happen. The only thing to make this salvageable I think would be fore AJ to come in and screw things up in order to start an AJ/Bella feud for whatever reason. Other than that Bellas because they’re the more popular duo

Usos vs Mizzuz: This is either gonna go two ways: Either the Mizzus will win because they(Mizdow) are more over right now, or the Usos will win because they are going to lose at 'Mania to the Ascension probably. The good new with the Usos winning is that maybe we’ll start down a road where the Mizzus are broken up…leading to an eventual 'Mania match. Given that I think that’s the better long-term solution, I’m gonna say Usos retain for storyline purposes

Royal Rumble So I am saying this first because I’ll establish this for my booking on the triple threat/monday after. I think what everyone thinks will happen will actually happen. Reigns wins. Leading up to it? I don’t think too much craziness happens. Kofi does something neat, Mizdow either eliminates Miz or refuses to go over, DB is probably eliminated by Kane to keep up with storyline and…and now it gets interesting. I am going to go with that Reigns will eliminate Ambrose. I think this could be a good way to turn Ambrose against Reigns a bit without having either really go “heel”. Plus this gives Reigns something to do between now and 'mania (feuding with multiple people). Who are the last two? Hmm…I’m gonna go with Reigns and Wyatt for lack of anyone else to put in with him for storyline purposes. Reigns wins, the crowd boos.

Triple Threat for the Title: This could go a lot of ways, but I think the Occam’s Razor is going to play out in the end. Supercena KOs both guys and pins Lesnar for the win (probably amidst boos). However…

Come Monday…Cena is having some kind of weirdo match against whogivesashit. In the middle of it out comes Lesnar who kicks the shit out of Cena and leaves him for dead…out comes Rollins with the MITB, he cashes it in, easily pins Cena, and is the new Champion. Why do I say all of this? Because the leadup to 'Mania will be Rollins feuding with someone (DB most likely) all the while here is Ambrose with a chip on his shoulder towards RR “Not only did you cost me the RR, BUT now I could have faced my…no…OUR old foe?” RR and Ambrose feud, RR and Rollins Feud a bit, Rollins and Ambrose feud. Trips has had enough. We have an all-shield triple threat at Mania for the title.

All of that being said. What’s our wildcard? Sting. Not that he’ll show up in the Rumble itself, but sometime in the next couple weeks he has to do something that makes Trips mad enough to want to face him at mania, which will probably involve the Golden Boy, which will probably involve a title run of some sort. I’m thinking I’m right, but we will see

I think I’m going to change my RR winner pick to Daniel Bryan. He’s their resident rags-to-riches angle that’s so hugely over with the audience. He makes such a good victim of The Authority’s abuse. It will be another three-month storyline of the Authority shitting on him until he opposes the WWE champ at WM.

I still think Seth will become WWE champ, whether it happens Sunday or Monday night, because he and DB will make for a truly fucking excellent contest.

I’m watching the Spanish language version of LU on Unimas.

Vampiro is an announcer with somebody else besides Matt Stryker. The backstage scenes of Dario Cueto in his office plotting his evil schemes are redone in Spanish. Now I see why the luchas hardly say anything in those sketches, because they’re having the talking heads do their thing twice. Whenever somebody like Big Ryck speaks in English, they have Spanish subtitles. The ring announcer chica is speaking Spanish. I’m guessing she announces twice, but they use the English version for American TV and cut out the Spanish version.

Vampiro is originally from Canada, but he’s fluent in Spanish. I wonder if he has a Canadian accent to Mexicans? Do they hear him say “eh” a lot and say “ou” as “oo”?

As for whether the matches are redone, I don’t think so. The announcers sound like they’re in a cheap soundbooth, but I think they’re actually talking while watching the tape in an empty auditorium, because of the shots of empty seats behind them. If the luchas are doing second matches, they’re somehow remembering every single move they did. They’re at least using the same crowd shots. I saw the twin 8-year-old boys wearing shades and LU shirts again.

Cena wins by pinning Rollins on a roll-up. Rollins rolls out of the ring in shock. Lesnar gets pissed and stomps the ever loving crap out of Cena, leaving him laying. Rollins cashes in the briefcase, pins Cena and steals the championship.

Cena ties Flair, but his title reign is 15 seconds. He still looks strong for winning the match.
Lesnar looks strong and didn’t lose the belt by being pinned.
Rollins “steals” the championship with his MitB briefcase after losing the actual match.

Rumors of The Rock showing up in the Rumble…

I hope the Rock does not win the thing. I’d like to see Ziggler in an improbable match-Up with Lesner at Wrestlemania.

The Rock has confirmed that he’s in Philadelphia. For what purpose we don’t know.

Worst-case scenario, Vince’s Plan B for “Roman Reigns can’t get over” is to send that other Samoan guy in to headline 'Mania in his place. And while Rock vs. Brock would be a draw, I just don’t think Rock has any business getting back in the ring at his age - he’ll be a month shy of 45 at 'Mania, and the last time he wrestled he suffered a massive stomach injury five minutes into the match. He needs to stick to his movies and let the younger guys have their time in the spotlight.

If he shows up, hopefully it’ll either be as a “guest host” so he can parade out and talk about himself for a half hour to pad for time since they only have two big matches and three squashes booked, or to show up near the end of the Rumble and give the rub to Reigns or Bryan.

So many X factors, and there’s always Vince’s famous last-minute decisions.

Joey Styles thinks Brrrrock can win the Rumble. It does sound like the type of thing Vince would do, to bring something from totally out of left field so he won’t be regarded as predictable. Can’t even dismiss the notion of the Rock winning the Rumble, then just letting him work his charismagic to make chicken shit out of chicken protoplasm. Maybe he’ll even have Batista repeat, just to make the audience sorry they rejected his previous comeback.

Wince said he’ll retire when he dies, and he’ll never die. Paul Heyman said Wince doesn’t even like to sneeze, because he regards it a sign of weakness.

See what I’m doing here? I’m getting all the worst-case scenarios out of the way so they won’t happen. I hope.

Cesaro and Tyson Kidd just won the dark match against New Day.

The Philly crowd, as one might expect, was super-over for the heels and especially Cesaro, who got huge pops, and shouted “NEW DAY SUCKS” at the babyfaces.

This night is going to get ugly if Reigns goes over.

Usos retain. Probably go with Miz angry with Mizdow tomorrow night.

Miz angry with Mizdown in about 20 min when Miz goes over and Mizdown doesn’t.
Hell of a title match!! Each guy took some wicked bumps and, as usual, rollins’s high flying ability steals the show. Lesnar knows literally 2 moves: Suplex, F5. Since he went over clean on Rollins I think this just cements a Reigns victory right now.

It’s as if Vince and company learned absolutely nothing from last year’s Rumble.

Even sending the Rock out to give Roman the rub didn’t work - but really, the finish of the match was doomed as soon as they had Bryan get eliminated at the #15 mark (and what was the point of that? It’s almost as if they want to punish the fans for not liking who they’ve been told to like.)

It’s going to be a long, painful road to WrestleMania, kids.
