They should move Big Show and Mark Henry to part-time ‘Attraction’ contracts. Have them wrestle maybe a dozen times a year, tops. Then pay them the standard appearance rates to have them fly around and represent WWE.
Hell, that would be more than they’re asking of Henry right now.
Kickoff show has been pretty good. The matches, not the written rhetoric. All the tag teams and their wives/pets (except for the Usowahs) got to do their signature moves and work in a double-triple-superflex. They held all their cool moves hidden all year and performed them here.
The AtGMBR was a lot of fun, too. Axel getting gang-ejected at the beginning will probably be the biggest moment of his career. I was glad to see Big Show win and get the giant legacy glory. Sandow’s headlock over the ropes over the ropes at the end was reminiscent of Chris Benoit’s RR win 10 or so years ago, when he clenched his cyprus root arms around Big Show’s head and slowly pulled him over the top rope. Hideo got some pops and made a good showing for NXT.
OK, let’s just this forum as a chat room tonight, heeheehee!
I gotta say WWE has the truly excellent stage stetup, light show, and media display magic going full throttle. I liked the way whosisface from NCISLA pressed the button to start the show. I gotta go watch the entrances now.
Whoa! Did anybody notice how far Orton’s head snapped back when Seth kicked him in the face? How does he not get whiplash from that? It’s like he completely relaxed his neck before the kick.
Ouches ouches ouches
Killer finisher! Seth comes down from a no-sold Curb Stomp right into the RKO!
